Cette étude vise à valider une échelle mesurant le soutien des parents, des enseignants et du conseiller d’orientation, et étudier l’influence des types de soutien sur le bien-être psychologique des élèves et sur leur intention à poursuivre leurs études. 1 130 élèves ont participé à cette recherche. Des analyses factorielles ont permis d’établir que l’échelle se compose de trois types de soutien social. Les types de soutien présentent tous un certain pouvoir prédictif quant à l’intention des élèves à poursuivre leurs études. Les soutiens des parents et des enseignants prédisent aussi le niveau de bien-être psychologique ressenti par les élèves.
