Abstract
Brasil e Canadá tiveram de adaptar-se às transformações do sistema internacional dos últimos anos. Suas estratégias de inserção internacional foram alteradas a partir da queda do regime bipolar. Os dois países mantém políticas externas ativas e com interesses específicos. Recentemente optaram por desenvolver uma parceria estratégica. O objetivo deste artigo é discutir de forma comparada a política externa canadense e a brasileira, tendo como foco a recomposição do cenário internacional, a partir do fim da guerra fria, observando a convergência e a divergência de interesses.
