Abstract
S’inscrivant dans le cadre des recherches que je mène depuis quelques années avec Pierre Nepveu sur l’oeuvre et les archives personnelles de Gaston Miron, cet article s’intéresse plus particulièrement aux écrits inédits des années 1947-1953 et aux diverses formes d’écritures du moi (fragments de journal intime, notes, amorces de romans autobiographiques, lettres) qu’ils convoquent. Cette vaste auto-analyse pratiquée par le jeune Miron au seuil de son entrée en littérature révèle l’ampleur de sa dette à l’égard des discours de son temps, notamment celui de La Relève, tout en éclairant les circonstances de cette « débâcle de son écriture » qu’évoquait Miron dans « Parcours et non-parcours ». Matrice première de l’oeuvre, ces écritures du moi amorcent la constitution d’une réserve d’écriture que le poète n’aura de cesse d’épuiser et d’enrichir tout au long de sa vie.
