Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This study investigates the effects that becoming and being a professional counsellor, including training and professional practice, can have on one’s personal life. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with six professional counsellors, asking how their training and professional practice has affected their personal lives. Qualitative methodology and thematic analysis were used in this investigation. Findings revealed participants experienced primarily positive effects, which impacted their personal lives in a variety of ways and in a range of areas. It is hoped that this study will inspire future research on how the profession of counselling psychology affects the professionals engaged with this work.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
