Abstract
Dans les sociétés occidentales contemporaines, le " soi moral ", spontanément soucieux d'autrui et non indifférent à sa souffrance, est en danger : on ne lui fait pas confiance, on veut l'encadrer par des règles et des lois morales, de peur que, laissé à lui-même, l'être humain soit incapable d'agir moralement dans ses rapports avec autrui. Il est donc vital et urgent de revaloriser, tant dans le quotidien que dans le savoir produit sur ce monde vécu, celui des sciences sociales. Dans cet article, l'auteure tente de le " faire exister " à l'intérieur du récit d'une jeune Québécoise : en se racontant, le soi fait lui-même exister des formes de rapports avec autrui, d'individuation et d'évaluation reflexive de ses actions qui sont constitutives d'un dispositif (" répondre de soi ") à l'intérieur duquel on peut lire des indices de l'existence d'un soi moral vécu.
