Abstract
Résumé Cet article aborde l’interdisciplinarité que requiert la sociologie en raison de son objet : la vie sociale dans l’ensemble de ses dimensions. Sur la base des considérations de Georg Simmel en la matière, l’auteur veut montrer que l’interdisciplinarité sous l’égide de la sociologie s’érige sur la base du découpage que ses artisans opèrent de la vie sociale afin d’établir l’objet de leur discipline. La théorie de la pratique de Pierre Bourdieu vient ici illustrer l’optique qui donne acte à l’interdisciplinarité en sociologie sans que celle-ci ne cherche à éliminer les autres disciplines qui ciblent sous divers angles la vie sociale ou la « matière sociale » (Simmel).
