Abstract
Le 12 octobre 1992, l'occasion des fastueuses commmorations occasionnes par le cinquime centenaire de la dcouverte des Amriques, le Zcalo, la clbre place centrale de la ville de Mexico, se trouvait totalement recouverte par des milliers de personnes accourues des quatre coins du continent. Selon les organisateurs de cette manifestation, il s'agissait, en cette date, de marquer tout la fois la dtrioration cologique et le gnocide des peuples indignes de l'Amrique (p. 28). Au milieu d'une foule htroclite, parmi les Apaches, les Inuit, les Sioux, les Mapuche et autres reprsentants indignes des deux Amriques, se dtachait une figure bigarre : celle des No-Indiens.
