Abstract
Ce texte se divise en trois parties. Dans la première partie, on y présente le modèle de forme structurelle à quatre équations retenu pour expliquer les revenus des hommes québécois en 1978. Les variables dépendantes sont le revenu de travail, le nombre de semaines travaillées, le niveau de scolarité et le bilinguisme. Dans la seconde partie on présente l’échantillon de 3 576 hommes tiré d’une enquête du Conseil de la langue française. Dans la troisième partie du texte on présente les résultats de l’estimation du modèle à l’aide des M.C.O. et du probit. Les résultats concordent avec nos attentes.
