Abstract
Selon des chiffres colligés en octobre 2004 à partir des sites Internet des institutions d’enseignement supérieur du Québec, les femmes professeures régulières à temps complet en philosophie ne représentent que 17,8% du corps professoral dans ce champ disciplinaire. Cette étude statistique démontre qu’il y a une sous-représentation des femmes professeures régulières en philosophie dans les universités québécoises. Ce texte vise donc à faire la lumière sur cette problématique et tente de mieux la comprendre en avançant cinq hypothèses explicatives, en vue de trouver des solutions pour pallier cette situation déplorable et dans une volonté de philosopher différemment.
