Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

 Abstact:
This article explores both published and unpublished works by the poet Gherasim Luca in order to identify, for the first time, references to the significance of the Holocaust. The evidence, while sparse, fits within certain themes such as the Jewish consciousness of displacement, the dispute of nationalist ideologies, the reappraisal of rationalism and of humanism.

 Keywords :
Gherasim Luca, the Holocaust, Jewish thought
