Abstract
Cet article prend le prétexte du cas général de la microfinance et du cas particulier du Pérou pour réfléchir à la financiarisation périphérique comme dynamique d’incorporation dans son rapport aux crises. La microfinance est positionnée comme une nouvelle composante de l’économie capitaliste à dominance financière qui permet de répondre et de réagir aux crises de légitimité et d’accumulation. Les réflexions théoriques sur les remèdes que le capitalisme développe pour gérer les problèmes d’exclusion et d’épuisement des réservoirs de valeurs sont mises en relation avec des manifestations empiriques dans le champ de la finance périphérique. Les ingrédients clés de la mise en oeuvre du projet d’inclusion financière – la gestion proactive de la pauvreté, l’insertion de l’économie informelle dans les circuits dominants et à la création de nouveaux canaux d’accumulation – sont abordés. L’article conclut sur le rapport entre l’extension financière périphérique et les crises avérées et potentielles qu’elle provoque.
