Abstract
Au centre des nouvelles pratiques à visée philosophique qui émergent à l’école primaire en France et ailleurs dans le monde, nous trouvons le fonctionnement en communauté de recherche philosophique (CRP). La CRP fait partie intégrante de l’approche de Philosophie pour enfants (PPE), mise en avant par le philosophe américain Matthew Lipman. L’étude des fondements pragmatiques de la PPE, par le biais notamment des thèses de J. Dewey, fournit de riches analyses en ce qu’elle montre que la CRP catalyse l’expérience de réflexion sur les plans cognitif, dialogique et social/éthique. Toutefois, alors que de telles perspectives ont légitimement droit de cité, elles doivent être complétées par les apports philosophiques de J. Habermas, et particulièrement les développements de ce dernier sur la pragmatique universelle et ses prétentions universelles à la validité innervant tout acte de parole. Dans ce texte, nous présentons brièvement les fondements deweyens de la CRP et nous proposons une analyse habermassienne de l’interaction verbale qui représente le moteur de la CRP.
