En el presente trabajo el autor intenta analizar o, más exactamente, “deconstruir” lo esencial del pensamiento denominado “estratégico” y de la gobernancia del conjunto de organizaciones (dominante en el terreno académico de la administración). Recurriendo a una lectura a la vez histórica, heurística, epistemológica y metodológica de la obra y del sistema dominantes en la materia, lo que denomina “el porterismo”, el autor realiza un balance decisivamente crítico de la totalidad del edificio teórico de la “estrategia” managerial en general y, en particular, de la elaborada por Michael Porter, el autor más renombrado al respecto.
