Résumé Les effets post-traumatiques chez les enfants du génocide sont explorés dans cet article. Certains aspects dynamiques sont soulignés pour mieux comprendre l’impact traumatique du génocide chez une enfant et les enjeux identitaires complexes, qui sont par ailleurs complexifiés à l’adolescence. Quelques mécanismes défensifs mis en place par l’adolescente pour faire face à la douleur post-traumatique sont discutés. Les éléments de l’intervention clinique permettant l’émergence du sens et la reconstruction identitaire sont également abordés.
