Alexitimia y autolesiones en un grupo de escolares de Lima Metropolitana

Abstract
Esta investigacion indaga acerca de las caracteristicas de las autolesiones y la alexitimia en escolares de cuarto y quinto de secundaria del distrito de Tahuantinsuyo ubicado en Lima, Peru. Asimismo, se indago la relacion entre estos dos constructos. La muestra fue de adolescentes hombres y mujeres que fluctuaban entre los 15 y los 19 anos de edad. El promedio de edad fue de 16 anos y la desviacion estandar de 0.925. Se les aplico grupalmente una adaptacion de la Cedula de Indicadores Parasuicidas para recoger la informacion referida a las autolesiones y la TAS 20 (Toronto Alexithymia Scale) para medir los niveles de alexitimia. Con respecto a las autolesiones se hallo que mas de un 20 las habia cometido aunque sea una vez en su vida, que las que lo habian hecho eran en su mayoria mujeres y que dos desencadenantes de dichos actos eran los problemas familiares y el estado de animo depresivo. En cuanto a la medicion de la alexitimia, se pudo notar que la TAS 20, a pesar de ser confiable para nuestra muestra, presenta ciertas dificultades, sobre todo en cuanto al factor 3. Los resultados demuestran que la alexitimia si se encuentra relacionada a las autolesiones, pero que existen otras variables que influyen en esa relacion.
