Abstract
Em 1996, as edições CIDIHCA publicam Dialogue d’île en île. De Montréal à Haïti, uma série de troca de cartas entre quatro romancistas e quatro poetas, quebequenses “natos” e os de origem haitiana estabelecidos no Quebec nos anos 1960 e 1970: Jacques Godbout e Émile Ollivier; Monique Proulx e Dany Laferrière; Paul Chamberland e Serge Legagneur; Jacques Brault e Jean-Richard Laforest. Propomos desvelar, a partir dessa necessidade de troca e de ecos experimentada por escritores que não pertencem (ou não completamente) à mesma cultura, uma situação verdadeiramente “pós-exílica”, marcada muito mais por preocupações literárias comuns que pela condição “insular” (minoritária) dos francófonos na América.
