Abstract
À travers le thème de l’achat équitable, l’article se demande comment la figure du consommateur-citoyen, acteur spécifique de toute démarche de consommation réflexive, permet une interprétation des engagements citoyens contemporains. La mise en avant de certaines valeurs morales, politiques et sociales, associées à l’achat équitable et mobilisées par des « consom’acteurs », donne une reconnaissance à une forme de consommation autre et engagée qui apparaît comme le champ de l’action politique et sociale dans nos sociétés actuelles. Dans cette configuration se pose la question de la légitimité de l’exercice de la citoyenneté par la consommation.
