Abstract
Bu olguda amitraz toksikasyonlu bir köpekte laboratuvar parametrelerindeki değişimler araştırıldı. Olgunun materyalini 2 aylık labrador melezi bir köpek oluşturdu. Anamnezde veteriner hekim tarafından kene enfestasyonuna karşı amitraz banyosu önerildiği, ancak öneriye uyulmayarak 2 gün üst üste tüm vücuda uygulandığı öğrenildi. Köpek kusma, kasılma, hipersalivasyon ve anoreksi şikayetleri ile kliniğimize getirildi. Fiziksel muayenede tonik ve klonik kasılmalar, depresyon, konjunktiva mukozasında solgunluk, bradikardi, hipertermi ve polipne tespit edildi. Vakanın hematolojik ve biyokimyasal analizleri yapıldı. Serum insulin ve kortizol düzeyleri ölçüldü. Hematolojide; mikrositik-hipokromik anemi ve trombositoz belirlendi. Biyokimyasal analizlerde ise; glikoz, ALP, GGT, CK ve LDH düzeylerinde artış, Na, Cl ve insülin düzeylerinde ise azalma saptandı. Tedavi olarak; iki gün %0,9 NaCl sıvı tedavisi, atropin sülfat, diazepam, trimetobenzamid hidroklorür ve metil prednisolon, 1 hafta ise ferrosanol şurup uygulandı. Tedavi sonrası ikinci günde kasılmalar ve kusmanın düzeldiği, bir hafta sonra ise beden ısısı, kalp ve solunum frekansının referans değerlere geldiği saptandı. Tedavi sonrası 7. günde aneminin derecesinin azaldığı, ancak düzelmediği belirlendi. LDH ve CK düzeylerinin tedavi öncesine göre azaldığı, ancak referans değerlerin üzerinde olduğu tespit edildi. Tedavi sonrasında insulin düzeylerinin referans değer alt limitlerine, glikozun ise üst limitlerine yaklaştığı saptandı. Sonuç olarak; köpeklerde amitraz toksikasyonunda glikoz, insulin, CK, LDH, Na ve Cl düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesinin yararlı olabileceği kanısına varıldı.
