Abstract
Cet article a ete publie en anglais dans le numero 68 (janvier-fevrier 2008) de la Therapeutics letter2, publication independante du departement de pharmacologie et therapeutique de l'Universite de Colombie britannique (Canada), sous le titre : Glycemic targets in type 2 diabetes. Comme le souligne notre confrere canadien Jim Wright, les referentiels de toutes origines dans ce domaine doivent etre « individualises », en aucun cas a appliquer uniformement a tous nos malades diabetiques. Comme pour tous les exemplaires de la Therapeutics letter, cette synthese a fait l'objet de la relecture de 40 experts et generalistes afin de corriger d'eventuelles incoherences et de verifier que l'information fond et forme correspondait bien a l'approche clinique du probleme.
