Abstract
Les récits traditionnels (mythes, contes et légendes) sont des actes de communication orale. En dehors du contexte de la performance, ils ne peuvent être communiqués que par un texte. Cet article aborde la question d’une muséologie des pratiques orales. Il faut prendre en compte les facteurs constitutifs du fait oral : tradition, structure communautaire, groupe d’appartenance, personnalité et perception du conteur, contexte et performance. Ces facteurs peuvent être ramenés à quatre sujets : conte (contexte, performance), conteur (personnalité, perception), espace social (structure communautaire et groupe), tradition . Ces quatre sujets peuvent être abordés dans les perspectives de quatre fonctions muséologiques : conservation, recherche, communication et diffusion .
