Abstract
Dans ce texte, le compositeur Philippe Leroux s’intéresse tout d’abord aux rapports qu’entretiennent continuité, son et geste. Puis, après s’être attaché à montrer comment les empreintes énergétiques de ces gestes se transforment en substituts gestuels, et la façon dont l’écoute de la musique renvoie aux gestes de production sonore ou à des mouvements gestuels virtuels physiques ou psychiques, il considère en quoi le concept de phrasé énergétique a pour fonction de relier l’ensemble de ces notions, sur le plan de l’audition comme de la composition. Ceci l’amène à redéfinir l’oeuvre musicale comme un espace transitionnel dans lequel l’action consistant à mettre en relation les évènements sonores supplante les notions classiques de développement par extension et prolifération d’une idée germinale.
