Abstract
Depuis quarante ans, certains quartiers des Xe et XVIIIe arrondissements de Paris ont la préférence des migrants originaires d’Asie du Sud. S’ils continuent de fréquenter le nord de la capitale, leurs stratégies résidentielles, qui évoluent en fonction de plusieurs paramètres comme l’ancienneté de leur migration ou leur statut familial, les conduisent désormais en banlieue. Les quartiers de La Chapelle et de la gare de l’Est demeurent néanmoins des territoires offrant des lieux de sociabilité privilégiés.
