Abstract
En milieu urbain, les organismes communautaires sont de plus en plus confrontes a un contexte d’intervention cosmopolite et multiculturel qui complexifie leur action. En consequence, nous posons l’hypothese que l’education et la formation interculturelles pourraient contribuer a ameliorer les pratiques d’education relative a l’environnement menees par les intervenants communautaires aupres d’une population multiculturelle. Nous tentons tout d’abord de mieux cerner les concepts d’education et de communication interculturelles. Nous explorons ensuite le cas particulier du Programme d’action environnementale Eco-quartier de la Ville de Montreal (Qc), pour lequel nous suggerons quelques propositions d’interventions concretes, appropriees au contexte multiculturel montrealais.
