en el Québec (Canadá): condiciones de emergencia y potencial de desarrollo RESUMEN: Mediante una investigación-acción se exploraron las condiciones de desarrollo y viabilidad de la cooperativa de trabajo (CT) como herramienta de desarrollo local en el medio urbano en el Québec.Se presenta un análisis histórico que explica el escaso desarrollo de la CT en el Québec si se compara con otros tipos de cooperativas.A partir de estudios de casos y entrevistas con expertos en el campo de las cooperativas de trabajo, se analizan las condiciones de emergencia y desarrollo reciente de las CT.El examen de las relaciones de la CT con el desarrollo local en medio urbano lleva a concluir que el éxito de su implantación descansa en la adaptación de una voluntad y una estrategia globales de desarrollo de las CT en función de los sectores empobrecidos.Se concluye con algunas perspectivas para una estrategia de promoción de las cooperativas de trabajo en el Quebec.
