Patesson (coord.),L'Homme et l'écran.Aspects de l'ergonomie en informatique (p.331-340).Bruxelles : Éd. de l'Université de Bruxelles. 1 L'analyse du travail d'Ombredane et Faverge avait développé en 1955 une méthodologie originale reliant à la sélection, la formation et la qualification du travail à côté de l'aménagement strict de celui-ci. 2Les auteurs explicitent trois idées qui ont émergé depuis et qui fondent encore les recherches en la matière : l'analyse du travail doit distinguer entre l'analyse de la tâche et l'analyse de l'activité, ces deux analyses présentent une méthodologie spécifique, et toute analyse du travail doit prendre en charge de nouveaux facteurs qui agissent en interaction soit la prise de pouvoir de l'homme sur son activité sinon sur sa tâche, l'influence de la crise économique et ses retombées et le développement des techniques informatiques et ses dérivées.3 Voici donc cette année trente ans que les Presses Universitaires de France publiaient l'ouvrage d'OMBREDANE et FAVERGE consacré à l'analyse du travail et qui reprenait pour l'essentiel les conférences données au Séminaire d'Analyse du Travail de l'U.L.B. par Faverge en 1953 et 1954.Dans cet ouvrage qui démontrait surtout la pertinence de la construction d'une méthodologie adaptée à chaque activité professionnelle, on trouvait toutes les bases d'un courant qui, dans les pays de langue française et dans de nombreux pays de l'Est, allait prendre le nom d'ergonomie psychologique en s'opposant aux modèles restrictifs et strictement expérimentalistes de l'human engineering américain et qui allait L'analyse du travail trente ans après Ombredane et Faverge Perspectives interdisciplinaires sur le travail et la santé, 19-2 | 2017
