Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We present searches for quark-lepton compositeness and a heavy ${W}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ boson at high electron-neutrino transverse mass. We use $\ensuremath{\sim}110{\mathrm{pb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of data collected in $p\overline{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}1.8\mathrm{TeV}$ by the CDF Collaboration during 1992--1995. The data are consistent with standard model expectations. Limits are set on the quark-lepton compositeness scale $\ensuremath{\Lambda}$, the ratio of partial cross sections $\ensuremath{\sigma}({W}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}e\ensuremath{\nu})/\ensuremath{\sigma}(W\ensuremath{\rightarrow}e\ensuremath{\nu})$, and the mass of a ${W}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ boson with standard model couplings. We exclude $\ensuremath{\Lambda}<2.81\mathrm{TeV}$ and a ${W}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ boson with mass below $754\mathrm{GeV}{/c}^{2}$ at the $95%$ confidence level. Combining with our previously published limit obtained using the muon channel, we exclude a ${W}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ boson with mass below $786\mathrm{GeV}{/c}^{2}$ at the $95%$ confidence level.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
