Abstract
L’étude des liens entre forme urbaine, accessibilité aux infrastructures de transport et pratiques de mobilité quotidienne est abordée à travers le prisme d’une échelle de fonctionnement intermédiaire, entre l’échelon local et l’échelon de l’aire fonctionnelle entière, traditionnellement étudiés. Une méthodologie générique de construction de bassins d’emplois est détaillée, puis appliquée aux espaces métropolitains de Paris et de la région Rhin-Ruhr. La mobilité quotidienne (utilisation des différents modes de transport, distances parcourues, part de trajets réalisés localement) est alors analysée à cette échelle intermédiaire, avec insistance sur la pertinence de mesures d’accessibilité à chacun des niveaux distingués.
