Abstract
Sommaire Le Québec s'est doté d'un Commissaire à la santé et au bien‐être pour apporter un éclairage pertinent au débat public et à la prise de décision gouvernementale dans le but de contribuer à l'amélioration de l'état de santé et de bien‐être des citoyens. Au fil des années, le Commissaire a développé une expertise dans le domaine de l'évaluation de la performance fondée sur le croisement de différentes connaissances et sources d'information, et qui intègre l'éthique et la participation citoyenne. Dans cet article, nous présentons la méthode du Commissaire, ses résultats, ainsi que les enjeux et les défis qui y sont associés.
