Abstract
Galo Chiriboga es Presidente de la rama ecuatoriana de la Asociación Americana de Juristas –AAJ– y es una figura reconocida en los temas del mundo del trabajo. En los últimos años se ha desempeñado en el escenario político del país, primeramente como Ministro del Trabajo, de Gobierno y como presidente de PETROECUADOR durante la administración del Presidente Alfredo Palacio. Posteriormente, fue Ministro de Minas y Petróleos en el gobierno del actual Presidente Rafael Correa. No obstante, sobresale su larga experiencia en el tema de las relaciones laborales, como también su \nperspectiva crítica y modernizadora en relación con el tema.
