Abstract
O governo eletrônico (e-Gov) é um conceito novo e que significa muito mais do que a simples idéia de um governo informatizado. Visa a criar um Estado aberto e ágil para atender às necessidades da sociedade. Brasil e Canadá são exemplos de países que mais utilizam a Internet para prover informações e serviços aos seus cidadãos. Abstract: The electronic government (e-Gov) is a new concept that means much more than the simple idea of a digital government. It aims to create an open and agile State to address the necessities of society. Brazil and Canada are examples of countries that use the Internet to provide information and services to its citizens.
