Abstract
Cet article traite des effets produits par les activités de formation sur le genre sur la représentation identitaire des paysannes dominicaines, de même que sur leur capacité d’agir. Depuis la Quatrième Conférence internationale sur les femmes de Beijing (1995), le thème du «genre» a obtenu une reconnaissance de la part des principaux protagonistes du développement. Il importe de se questionner sur la diffusion à grande échelle de cette perspective de façon à mieux en saisir les répercussions sur les femmes «bénéficiaires» des activités de développement. C’est à travers l’examen de relations verticales établies entre des agences étrangères, des organisations de femmes dominicaines, de même que leurs groupes de femmes affiliés que la chercheuse présente des résultats qui découlent de la mise en pratique de la perspective de genre en République Dominicaine.
