Abstract
Des jeux d'enfants, les plus courants, le jeu de poupée, la cachette, ont fait l'objet d'une observation "sauvage". Des groupes d'enfants, deux ans, trois-quatre ans, cinq-six ans, et sept ans, ont été suivis dans des situations non structurées afin de retracer l'évolution propre à chaque âge. L'analyse des comportements par groupe d'âge et par jeu fait ressortir des conduites communes à chaque âge et parallèles d'un jeu à l'autre. L'interprétation des faits observés met en évidence la distanciation progressive entre l'enfant et le monde qui l'entoure, le processus de passage entre la maîtrise des gestes et leur intégration à un rôle, et l'exploration des propriétés des objets et leur coordination au sein d'un système intégré.
