Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan motoriksiswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Bantul, Kecamatan Bantul, KabupatenBantul.Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan teknik pengambilan datamenggunakan tes. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa yangmengikuti ekstrakurikuler bolabasket di SMA N 3 Bantul yang berjumlah 40siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi yang bejumlah 40siswa. Pengumpulan data kemampuan motorik diukur menggunakan tes denganmengukur komponen motorik yang meliputi Lari 30 M, Sit up, Basketball throwfor distance, Lompat jauh tanpa awalan, Sit&reach, Lari bolak-balik 4x5 M, Squatdi dinding.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang berkategori sangatbaik sebanyak 0 siswa atau sebesar 0,0%, kategori baik sebanyak 0 siswa atausebesar 0,0%, kategori sedang sebanyak 22 siswa atau sebesar 55%,kategori kurang sebanyak 18 siswa atau sebesar 45%, dan kategori kurang sekali0 siswa atau sebesar 0,0%. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwakemampuan motorik siswa ekstrakurikuler bolabasket di SMA N 3 Bantul tahun2012 dalam kategori sedang.Kata Kunci: kemampuan motorik, bolabasket
