Abstract
Résumé La diversité de la population australienne est reconnue comme un atout culturel et social par les pouvoirs publics. Cependant, le traitement politique de cette diversité dépasse les frontières du multiculturalisme et prend en compte un tout autre système de catégorisation : celui de la vulnérabilité de certaines parties de la population. Cet article explique ce cloisonnement social et montre l’utilisation de ces formes de classification par les pouvoirs publics, à travers les exemples de la justice pénale et des services de santé.
