Abstract
La question du maintien des liens sociaux et familiaux en dépit de l’incarcération est un important problème auquel le Canada tente de répondre par l’instauration de programmes de visites familiales se déroulant dans la solitude et l’intimité sur une période de 3 jours. Bien que répondant à une philosophie d’une peine humaine centrée vers le retour dans la collectivité du contrevenant, il ne faut pas nier la dimension de contrôle supplémentaire que de telles mesures donnent à l’administration carcérale sur ses détenus.
