On peut penser qu'un ouvrage sur la psychologie de la communication et de la persuasion n'intresse les chercheurs en sciences de l'ducation et les pdagogues que de manire marginale. Il est certain que la plupart des exemples d'application cits dans cet ouvrage portent principalement sur les domaines de la publicit et de la communication persuasive. Mais il est galement certain que le chemin pour transfrer la plupart des thories prsentes et leur trouver des applications dans le champ de l'ducation estais. Que l'enseignement soit une situation de communication est une lapalissade, on pourrait presqu'en dire autant de la persuasion, au moins pour ce qui concerne la partie gestion de la classe et de la discipline. Prsenter cet ouvrage dans la Revue franaise de pdagogie nous a donc paru offrir une opportunit de prendre la mesure de l'apport thorique des courants prsents et de l'intrt qu'il pourrait y avoir (re)conduire un certain nombre des expriences dans une classe ou un groupe d'apprenants.
