Abstract
L’auteure propose une réflexion sur les festivals de musique contemporaine et leur place dans l’identité socioculturelle québécoise. Y a-t-il un chaînon manquant entre les oeuvres contemporaines et le public? Si tel est le cas, quelle en est la cause? Les festivals de musique contemporaine représentent-ils adéquatement leur milieu? En conjonction avec un questionnement sur la constitution tant des publics que des programmes de festivals, ces interrogations mènent à un état des lieux et à des voies d’avenir possibles plus qu’à des réponses absolues.
