Abstract
Les générations qui ont commencé à arriver sur le marché du travail sont moins nombreuses. On note en effet une réduction de 14,9 % du nombre déjeunes actifs au cours de la période quinquennale étudiée. On constate aussi que l'ensemble de la population active est en vieillissement (l'âge médian est en hausse de 0,5 année chez les hommes et de 1,2 année chez les femmes) et que la structure par âge de plusieurs professions subit d'importants changements. Ainsi, la proportion des 15-24 ans diminue dans presque tous les groupes de professions. À l'aide de simulations, l'auteur montre que la structure professionnelle de l'ensemble des travailleurs se ressent moins de la baisse du nombre déjeunes travailleurs (prise isolément, celle-ci n'a que très peu d'effet) que des changements professionnels observés chez les jeunes.
