Abstract
A partir do estudo do documentário Les héritiers du mouton noir (2003) e do longa-metragem Les invasions barbares (2003), deseja-se fazer dialogar essas produções com as transformações políticas e sociais presentes na sociedade quebequense, nas últimas décadas, que se vê confrontada com novos parâmetros identitários oriundos do processo de globalização. O documentário de Godbout fala da vida política no Quebec contemporâneo e acaba por colocar em destaque as características do filme de Arcand, que também trata de questões levantadas pela sociedade quebequense contemporânea.Résumé: À partir de l’étude du documentaire Les héritiers du mouton noir (2003) et du long-métrage Les invasions barbares (2003), on souhaite faire dialoguer ces productions avec les transformations politiques et sociales présentes dans la société québécoise des dernières décennies, qui se voit confrontée aux nouveaux paramètres identitaires originaires du processus de globalisation. Le documentaire de Jacques Godbout nous parle de la vie politique au Québec contemporain et il finit par mettre en évidence les caractéristiques du film d’Arcand qui traitent aussi des questions posées par la société québécoise contemporaine.
