Abstract
La presencia y funci?n del discurso sexual en una serie de novelas y obras narra tivas de autores espa?oles, escritas en torno a la guerra y el Protectorado de Ma rruecos durante los a?os veinte del pasado siglo, es el asunto de este art?culo. En tre los autores estudiados figuran Ernesto Gim?nez Caballero, Alberto Camba, Jos? D?az Fern?ndez, Luis Cansino Rold?n, Arturo Barea, Ferm?n Gal?n, Ram?n Sender y otros. Como han se?alado diferentes cr?ticos y te?ricos, la sexualidad constituye uno de los temas centrales en la elaboraci?n de una imagen del otro y de s? mismos por parte de las potencias occidentales en su proceso de coloni zaci?n del Oriente. Asimismo, el discurso de la sexualidad ofrece un modelo de comprensi?n y codificaci?n de la lucha colonial en t?rminos de la posesi?n tam bi?n sexual de un cuerpo/espacio colonizado por parte del sujeto colonizador, generalmente identificado con los atributos masculinos. Este art?culo trata de ampliar este esquema examinando otras variantes del discurso sexual presente en la narrativa espa?ola de la guerra de Marruecos.
