Abstract
L’œuvre de Simone de Beauvoir a fait l’objet de nombreux commentaires. Bon nombre de ceux-ci concernent le livre qui, revendiqué par une part importante du mouvement féministe dès les années 70, a assuré sa pérennité, et a servi d’introduction sinon de clé à tous les autres : Le deuxième sexe. Les analyses critiques de la situation des femmes qu’il développe, chapitre après chapitre, ont inspiré une partie importante de ce mouvement dans son entreprise de dépassement théorique et politique des injustices qui structurent les rapports entre les sexes. Rappeler l’excédent de la douleur sur l’injustice ou de l’altération sur l’aliénation dans l’œuvre de Beauvoir, ce n’est pas questionner la validité de l’analyse politique qu’elle développe mais resituer le politique sur le fond du philosophique.
