Abstract
La conciliation travail-famille, objectif affiché dans le cadre de la stratégie européenne dite de Lisbonne à l’horizon 2010, aborde aujourd’hui une phase de bilan. Promue à l’origine comme moyen de garantir l’insertion professionnelle des femmes, dans un objectif global et de long terme d’égalité entre les hommes et les femmes, elle est en train de changer de contexte. Avec une transformation des conditions économiques (crise de l’emploi, notamment) et des modes de vie, il est nécessaire de redéfinir une politique « souhaitable » de conciliation pour les années à venir, tenant compte des nouveaux acteurs en présence, de leurs modes de gouvernance et des impulsions des gouvernements tant nationaux qu’internationaux.
