The probability of error for optimum detection on the two wave Rayleigh fading channel
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The indoor wireless channel (20-60 GHz) can be modeled by a two wave Rayleigh model. The authors consider the optimum detector for equal energy signals on the two wave Rayleigh fading channel with known delay. They obtain upper and lower bounds on the probability of error when communicating on this channel using signals with nonzero complex cross-correlation. The bounds obtained converge to an exact expression for uniformly orthogonal signals. The expression explicitly demonstrates the existence of a diversity like effect, present whenever the delay is nonzero. Numerical evaluation of the bounds indicate that when the complex cross-correlation of the signals is small, the performance is nearly the same as the performance of the detector when it uses signals with zero complex cross-correlation.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
