Abstract
Au sein de la production artistique des cinéastes en Amérique du Nord, dans une industrie encore dominée par des voix et des regards masculins, un nombre croissant de récits mis en scène par des réalisatrices « multiculturelles nord-américaines » est apparu à partir des années 90. Cette décennie marque ainsi l’émergence des premiers documentaires et de quelques longs métrages réalisés par des femmesen diasporatelles que la cinéaste féministe montréalaise Eisha Marjara. Son autobiographie « fictionnalisée », mettant en scène des modèles de femmes protagonistes que l’on pourrait qualifier d’héroïnesen diaspora, permet d’examiner des imaginaires cristallisant des rapports sociaux imbriquésenethorsdiaspora.
