L’objectif de cette recherche était de décrire les pratiques pédagogiques d’intégration des TIC de dix enseignants du troisième cycle du primaire quant aux usages et aux types d’organisation qu’ils mettent en oeuvre avec les élèves. Il en est ressorti que les enseignants ont perçu l’ordinateur en classe plus comme un outil d’apprentissage que comme un moyen de divertissement. En ce sens, les usages préconisés ont surtout été axés sur la recherche, le traitement et l’édition de l’information à l’aide du traitement de texte et d’Internet. Peu d’enseignants ont fait une utilisation des TIC vraiment intégrée à leur pédagogie. Les enseignants rapportent préférer utiliser les TIC directement en classe plutôt qu’au laboratoire, ce qui facilite une gestion de leurs usages beaucoup plus centrée sur l’élève, par des ateliers, des temps libres de travail et des projets. Le présent article met en évidence également certaines limites ainsi que plusieurs pistes de recherche. Il apporte aussi des recommandations pratiques.
