Abstract
Os problemas relacionados com o atual modelo agricola tem desafiado varios setores da sociedade a buscarem alternativas para o fortalecimento da agricultura familiar no Oeste do Parana. Uma destas alternativas e o uso da homeopatia popular que merece destaque por acontecer de forma conjunta entre entidades de extensao rural, de pesquisa, de ensino e agricultores. O presente artigo tem por objetivo descrever acoes de capacitacao que resultaram no uso da homeopatia entre agricultores que estao fazendo parte do processo de transicao agroecologica no Oeste do Parana, bem como relatar o treinamento dos profissionais da regiao para a assessoria tecnica e pesquisa em homeopatia animal e vegetal. Este trabalho apresentou alguns resultados importantes para a geracao de autonomia na producao ecologica, como a organizacao dos grupos para a difusao de tecnologias alternativas e a importância da formacao de base popular, reduzindo custos e residuos no ambiente e nos alimentos.
