Abstract
RÉSUMÉ / SUMMARY Les dissolutions matrimoniales, un phénomène latent dans le Québec des années 60 L'émergence de dissolutions matrimoniales visibles dans les années 60 reçoit une explication à multiples volets. Si elle est liée aux contradictions structurelles de la famille des sociétés industrielles avancées, elle a pris au Québec l'aspect d'une transformation accélérée et soudaine. Des facteurs conjoncturaux rendent compte de la rapidité de cette évolution pendant les années 60. Quoique réelle, la soudaineté du phénomène est aussi un effet du " regard " : la perception idéologique/idyllique des institutions familiales et matrimoniales a empêché de voir les dissolutions latentes que l'analyse du matériel ethno-sociographique des années 60 nous a restituées.
