Abstract
Foram analisados cinco poços perfurados, além de uma sondagem elétrica vertical paradeterminação da distribuição dos aquíferos na cidade de Ourinhos, SP. Ocorrem na cidade,principalmente, os aquíferos Guarani e Serra Geral. São registradas ocorrências do topo doAquífero Guarani, variando de 40 metros até 488m de profundidade. A complexa distribuição emsubsuperfície destes aquíferos, mostrada no trabalho, é apontada como fator determinante em suagestão. Além disto, menciona-se o afloramento de rochas das Formações Botucatu e Pirambóia, deSedimentos Quaternários ao longo do Rio Paranapanema e de rochas sedimentares que podem sercorrelacionadas ao Aquífero Bauru.
