En este articulo analizo como , entendiendo la memoria como conservacion y el olvido como supresion ( Todorov )y es posible interpretar la produccion revisionista del franquismo en la Espana del siglo XXI desde lo que he dado en llamar olvido presencial y presencia del olvido Revisando la figura de Franco y el franquismo en algunas obras literarias y sus correspondientes versiones filmicas, analisis historicos y gags televisivos, exploro la idea de que todas ellas son aproximaciones discursivas (White): una pretendida vision intermedia y reconciliadora (Soldados de Salamina), una vision desde la izquierda (La voz dormida) y una vision desde la derecha (entrada de Franco en el Diccionario Biografico Espanol). Argumento que a todas esas perspectivas se contrapone la aproximacion a la figura de Franco que hace el programa de humor Polonia, de la television autonomica catalana. Con ello expongo que mediante el humor , y concretamente la satira politica , es factible una salida saludable a la revision del franquismo , puesto que el equipo artistico de Polonia auna el Franco vilipendiado por la izquierda y el Franco adulado por la derecha (Preston), sin pretension dogmatizante.
