Surface enhancement Raman scattering from a silver electrode in a methyl acetate solution containing LiAsF/sub 6/ and (CH/sub 3/)/sub 4/NBr
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The structure of the solvated lithium cation in methyl acetate (MA) and in acetone (AC) solutions has been investigated using Raman spectroscopy. Evidence for contact ion pairing between Li/sup +/ and AsF/sub 6//sup -/ is also presented for both solvents. The degree of association is less for AC solutions. Surface enhanced Raman scattering spectra of solvated lithium cation and tetramethylammonium ion (TMA/sup +/) in MA solutions adsorbed on a silver electrode have been measured and compared to the normal Raman spectra of the corresponding solution. Shifts in Raman frequencies for both Li(MA)/sub 4//sup +/ and the C/sub 4/-N symmetric and asymmetric stretching modes from TMA/sup +/ have been observed. The results show that (CH/sub 3/)/sub 4/N/sup +/ adsorbs to a Ag electrode at low concentrations (5*10/sup -3/ M) and positive potentials. Li(MA)/sub 4//sup +/ also adsorbs on the Ag electrode, but it appears to be replaced by (CH/sub 3/)/sub 4/N/sup +/ as the potential becomes more negative. For the system Ag/MA, LiAsF/sub 6/ saturated with CO/sub 2/. Raman spectra of surface carbon have been recorded. A simple model to illustrate the surface processes in this nonaqueous system and implications for lithium cell technology are presented.>

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
